Baseball Card

Hi All:

The timing on the GIMP tutorial worked out great. I recently received my grandson's baseball card from his little leauge team. This would be a great opportunity to try my hand at creating a pattern using GIMP. After many hours...This is what I have so far. After some final touchup and a few printouts...Off to the saw!

Thanks...I can still see more things to change This is definitely a challenge for a newbie. Gonna be a lotta holes to drill It will be a birthday present for my grandson when finished.

Great Job on that pattern. I don't see to much that I personally would change on it, maybe connect a couple areas and widen a bridge here and there, but your pattern came out fantastic. If this is your very first pattern then I can not wait to see your future patterns, they will be a 1000 times better than mine.

Great job on that pattern Vector. I'm sure he will be thrilled to receive that as a gift. The first couple of patterns are always the toughest. Travis's tutorial was a great help too. I've been using and experimenting with different programs to make patterns and I always end up spending hours and hours cleaning things up. The Gimp tutorials have definately sped things up for me.

Vector, I agree with Messman....just widening a few bridges will make for a better cut. You did a fantastic job on your first pattern! Keep up the great work.
