Fish Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 Here is another American Indian pattern I had done and finally got it cut. I like the way it came out. It's a simple black frame from the dollar store. bobscroll, lawson56 and Lucky2 3 Quote

Lucky2 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Fantastic cutting Fish, Native American portraits don't sell in this area. I thought that they might be good sellers seeing as how I'm in an area that has four reservations, but there was no interest in them at all. I've asked a couple of my Mic-Mac buddies, and they tell me that allot of natives don't like to see people selling native portraits. They said that since people had no use for the natives back then, they don't think that people should be making money off of them now. Len Quote
Fish Posted June 21, 2014 Author Report Posted June 21, 2014 Thanks folks, I wouldn't sell any of the ones I have done. I find them interesting and like them too much. Hopefully they would not feel it as an insult. Quote
Lucky2 Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 No Fish, they don't mind people cutting anything native related, as long as it's not being made to make money off of, they don't mind. Not all natives have a problem with people cutting images of their forefathers, some of them like the idea that the white man uses pics of their forefathers as decorations. Len Quote
