smitty0312 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Cut this a few days ago, added some pink felt for the background. Comments are welcome. Thanks. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Dan that is ever better with the backing. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
Lucky2 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 It looks good Dan, but personally, I don't think your pink is pink enough. Plus, I think you need a smaller drill bit, the holes that you drilled for the roses are to large, they shouldn't be so noticeable. Other than these two qualms, I think you did a great job. jerrybritner Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 This looks awesome, great cutting. However I have found that pink doesn't make for a good back ground color, also in agreement with Lucky that you could have used smaller drill bits. However nothing wrong with the cutting itself and you should be proud of your work. Quote
amazingkevin Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 The blade's you cut this oak with leave such a satin smooth finish in each and every white oak project you do.I'd be interested in what blades you use.As far as the drill holes i try to put them where if I widen them a little they have the natural look of shadeing.I have the problem of forgetting to do this myself. It's an easy fix though. No worry's,the beautiful workmanship hides all sins, lol Quote
