Fay Prozora
Now that is a neat idea. I think the gingerbread will be easy to cut out on the scroll saw. I have a pattern book called Victorian Gingerbread and it has a lot of ideas but never thought of some thing like this....Fay smitty0312

You are one dedicated scroller!Okay, Yes, I like the idea of the frames and am looking forward to seeing the finished results. God Bless! Phantom Scroller
Good idea Dan using up space that would not usually be used. Can't wait to see your design. Roly

Fay Prozora
It can be used just as a door topper too. None of our bedrooms have room for the hanging frames but there is plenty of room on the top of the door just for the scroll work. Not to mention a picture can be place in between the scroll work so that would be nice too. There is room in our dining room for the hanging frames and I might give this a shot myself... Doug
I think your challenge is going to be the choice of wood, the width and depth of the wood, and how it is hung so the weight of the pictures does not break the scroll art in the curve or elsewhere. Let us know what you decide on, how it works, and share pictures when you are done.
heppnerguy
A nice project. Your wife will enjoy this too. I am going to keep it from my wife or I too will be making one of these and I am other things I need to be doing right now. Go for it.
