Vector01
Hi All: I figured that would get your attention After checking the recent post concerning "wood suppliers" I went to the "Handsome Woodman" to check out their selections. I chose three pieces that looked good for either scrollen or burning. A lot of times what you see advertised is not always what you get I received my order today and I was blown away The pieces were exactly as advertised. The grain and color was perfect The wood comes planed on both sides and will need only some light sanding for preperation for burning. The prices are great and the shipping costs were marginal considering it was shipped from Washington state to Connecticut. I would suggest checking them out. http://www.thehandsomewoodman.com/index.htm

shadylady0447
You got some real nice looking wood! Can't wait to see what you do with it. I don't live too far from them and they are just the nicest people. I love the way they show a picture of every piece of wood they have for sale.....you always know exactly what you're getting! I like to use the grain of the wood to enhance my cuttings. They like to receive a picture of any cuttings you do on their wood then they put it on their website. Here's one I did with spalted maple. Vector01
Hi Lady: Yep...I was happy with these pieces. Now I have to come up with some ideas. I have a few on the burner. The tall ship you did was excellent. The trick is finding a theme that fits the wood. I'll study the wood again and wait for a revelation
