ugsduck
The 2nd in the series from Shadylady0447 and a little more difficult for me. Enjoyed it very much. It is on a piece of tatty MDF. I thought that the mottled staining on the material lent itself to the mood of a ship in heavy waters. Thank you Sue Cheers Keith

ugsduck
You did a great job on it! Love how you painted the MDF. Almost looks like birdseye maple. Nicely done! Didnt paint it It was slightly off colour to start with so I mucked around with a sponge and a lightly coloured varnish... great Fun! ugsduck
Nice job Keith....Thats on my to do list If I do it again then I will use spirals for some of the cuts - some were too close for comfort for me and I nearly messed up a couple of times. Good Fun! though Cheers Keith

ugsduck
Very nice cutting Keith, I have never tried MDF for portraits did the thin bridges hold together ok !.......Paul They held but .. in 2 places the layers seperated a little and I had to position and glue them. Also the edges of the boards damage easily and the blades blunt very quickly. I dont think I would use MDF again for close cutting work - it was just a stop gap whilst waiting for a wood delivery.
