It's 3/4" worm eaten Oak, you can't see much of the worm holes though. I finished it with mineral oil

It is a truly nice pattern and you did it a real justice, Dan. It will be a nice remembrance every year when the wife unpacks the Christmas decorations. It is sure to be the family favorite long after you are gone
