Delicate Box

I had  this for quite awhile. I thought I posted it already but I think I had only  shown it to Dick when he finished his. Anyway, I finally got the lid on and finished it with mineral oil. I have another one made of Walnut in the garage now, hopefully done tomorrow.  I don't think I'll do it again it will make you go blind cutting it   How much would someone pay for one like this if I sold it?

Very nicely done, let me tell you a funny story, Fish. When i was running my give away from my Facebook page, I offered anything on my page for the winner. i was expecting the winner to take a piece of intarsia, as I had quite a few pretty nice pieces there and low and behold, he took my box like the one above. i am not too sure that i really want to cut another one of these. I still have it on my page but I really do not want to cut another. Your is very beautiful and far surpasses mine. I really did not like the wood choice for my project but it was the best i had at the time.

prices are hard but i it will not get what its worth. people want cheap shinny crap that they think is quality. go to any furniture store and look at all the prtty sawwood and glue products.. people that dont wood work like pretty ad people that understand quality are usually wood workers like yourself and admirers not buyers , i love these boxes nice sharp lines

Wow that is fantastic.  No you would not want to do too many of those, your eyesight is too precious.  I love the wood you chose, makes it look very expensive.
