I finally bought hinges for this one too. The patterns are from craftsmanspace.com. The Mrs. said I could keep this one. I finished this with mineral oil too. Thanks for looking.

Fish that looks great.  Have you ever thought to try making wooden hinges?  They are not that difficult to make and depending upon the wood used might add a flair to your boxes.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

It would be a hard box to part with no matter how much money you were offered, too much work in it.  Definitely a keeper.
