dansnow
My son Erik and I sat down with a basic concept and started the design process to create Dragon 2.0! About the only thing that didn't change was...... A pushrod! Yup, every other part on this sucker was changed in shape or function. Oh, and it has 4 legs that walk instead of just two. It's still a work in progress. As we looked at this one finished today, we started sketching on the templates how we would like to refine the shape of the head, neck and crest. Thanks for looking folks. You can check out an 8 second video of it here keefie, lawson56 and jellis

keefie
fantastic piece of design work there, and beautifully made (but does it breathe fire yet?? ) excellent work. Wilson's Woodworking
dansnow
Keefie, I tried the breathing fire option, but the darn thing kept setting ITSELF on fire. That seemed to be somewhat career limiting, so it was scrapped. For Now! keefie and wombatie

wombatie
Love it. How many pieces did you have to cut to make him/her? Marg
dansnow
Morning Marg, not counting the axle pins, the dragon consists of 27 parts. Thanks everybody for the wonderfully kind remarks. All I can say is Thank You! And wait till you see the next one!!
