Been following the posts here for sometime.  Figured it was time to join so I could see the photos of the great work I have been reading about.  Been scrolling close to nine years shortly after retiring from 39 years in Army and Texas Army National Guard.  Have not found anything that calms me down as much as the scrolling blade cutting into the wood.  Thanks for letting me sign in.

Welcome Larry (feel like I'm talking to myself)

You are already one of the 'old scroll pros'. So you may get questions.

We usually expect a showcase of scroll pictures... got any?

One big request is that you join us for coffee each morning.

And ... Thank you for your service.

Thanks for the welcome.  Yep, even after reading the posts including those from the Coffee House, I joined up.  To help in my decision I picked up a coin, tossed it in the air, called heads and heads it was when it landed.  Now as I look at that coin, I notice it has heads on both sides.  Oh well, the decision was made and here I be.

(From welcome post to Denis  (Looking up a bit, TWO LARRY'S omg.         )  Yep TWO, we may not rock, we may not roll, but this I know, we love to scroll.

I’ll try to remember to dig out some pics to post.

First of all Thank You for your service.

Second, welcome to the village.

Now that you joined take a look at all the patterns that these very talented people have made. I am sure you will find more than a couple that you will want to cut. This forum is filled with amazing people and a few jokesters like myself. ;) ;)

Most important is join in and have fun with your scrolling and post some pictures of your work, machine and shop. We will love to see the pictures. :D :D
