DWSUDEKUM
This sign was an order from a family friend for their camps trailer. The state is pine the red is cedar and the names are mahogany. Sealed with tung oil and then top coated with Spar Varnish as it is going to be outside. This is my latest shell. Cut from Mahogany, Poplar and Pine. Sealed with tung oil and top coated with shellac. The stand was cut from 3/4 pine to support the shell for display. DW lawson56 and amazingkevin
Ron Johnson
Love the sign DW, but I have to admit the shell and stand is totally amazing. The colors of wood you've chosen and the finishing is so beautiful. Nice piece of art.

DWSUDEKUM
DW, i'd love to see your version of a cornucopia!!! cornucopia.jpg Funny you should mention a cornucopia... I have been entertaining the idea of making one using the shell technique but have not yet had the time to play with the idea much.
