WolfyPete
so is this magazine still running then through the parent company?
JTTHECLOCKMAN
I remember well when that magazine went to print and in fact they celebrated with a picnic and remember being there for that. Talked to all the publishers and they were so high on that magazine. John Nelson was one of their big pattern contributers and I worked with him on a a few patterns that made it big. The one that was all the rage was the flexible watch and got a huge write up in the magazine. It became a Steebar exclusive pattern. In fact here is the watch. That other magazine was not around yet. Scrolling was hot at that time.
NC Scroller
so is this magazine still running then through the parent company? CWW&C (Creative Woodworks and Crafts) is totally gone. So are all the magazines by that publisher. SSWS (Scroll Saw Work Shop) which is published by Fox Publishing is alive and well. Rolf
You Guys are starting to confuse me!! There is NO SSWS! There IS SSWWC (Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts) by Fox Chapel publishing. There is also a German Magazine "FeinSchnitt kreative" http://www.feinschnitt-kreativ.de/ And the one from SAW (Scrollsaw association of the world) which I have not seen. But with Leldon Maxcy and John Nelson working with SAW it is probably worth a look. Any SAW members out there that can comment? There are also some E mags out there, Again something I have not explored.
Bill WIlson
Didn't Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts magazine used to be called Scroll Saw Workshop some years ago? I'll have to root around for some of my old, back issues to see if that is the name on the cover, but it seems to me that they changed the name a while back.
