I hope I did this right.  I am the "new guy".  Many have asked about seeing my work.  While I borrowed the idea from a pattern using a music score in a magazine this actual design is my own.  This is a piece I made last year.  It was a commission piece for the retiring director of our local women's choir.  The piece is walnut on a maple backer.  The music score shown actually corresponds to the words shown below it.  The song was the director's favorite that is why it was choosen.

As a choral singer and a scroller I have a great love of this piece. I know many friends, directors and voice teachers in my life would be ecstatic to have this excellent piece of art.

Is this design for sharing? You have us drooling.

Not just the scroll work but your choice of wood is outstanding.

I know there is more than just me who would enjoy cutting this.

Great job "New Guy"  Not!!!!

Thanks for all the postive comments.  It really was a challegene especailly since I am not a designer.  The actual pattern was done on paper and not with any software though I did printing of some random images off the internet.  I almost gave up on the design but stuck with it.  I have heard the plaque sits on a stand in the front room of the lady who was honored. Everyone who enters sees it.
