amazingkevin
I was so overwhelmed with the intricacies of Han's I had to try one myself. The stain really brought out the beauty of it all.The landlady even liked it and asked how much.I could use some suggestions in this area, please and thank you.I didn't take pictures of it standing up which it does but nothings nailed down or glued yet.She may want a different picture in it of her long lost husband exactly a year ago.I timing of this project had to be from above as i forgot it was a year ago he past.I'm wondering if funeral parlors might like to sell these?I used a spiral #1 for the tiny angel features and a scroll reverse#3 for everything else. A 1/8" _1/16" and a #71 drill bit were used. My Hodge podge stain mix is getting a work out and I'm happy with the results. The wood is1/8 ,3/4 pine & 1/4 for the photo frame.I worked on and off three days little by little..The other plaque is 3/4 Maybe poplar and same stain.both were stained in the bath tub method soaked and resoaked then wiped off.and sun cured, lol. It dried very quick bobscroll and jellis
