LarryEA
I was given an old burl and I have cut it into sections. It is old and is heavy spalted. I used spray lacquer on a piece and noticed that not all sections take the finish the same. I had one piece that kept absorbing and did not ever look like I put anything on it even after I soaked it in BLO. Should I try spray wax? There are nooks and cranies and a worm hole or two. Thanks all

Phantom Scroller
Larry, can't you get a spray lacquer with that stuff that gets into places nothing else will go. called Heineken . i would just water down some glue and brush in first let that seal over night and then try spray.
