heppnerguy
On Monday, I was in the Portland area and I made arrangement to have lunch with our illustrious leader, Travis. We spent about an hour together, getting to know each other and talking, yes you guessed it, scrolling. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity and found Travis to be as likable and cordial as I expected him to be. He told me one thing that really surprised me and that was; he said I was the only person that he had met personally from The Village. Hoping to see him again on my next Portland visit and I hope to convince him to come to our house with his family some time too. Travis
That was a lot of fun. I had a really great time and it was nice to put a face to a SSV member. Thanks for the lumber and great conversation! Since there's a few of us out this direction, maybe next summer we can plan an informal meetup for those of us in the northwest. Wilson's Woodworking
Heck, everyone in the US, Canada and Mexico can all meat in a central location. It doesn’t get much more central then Nebraska. Come on out and we can rent the Meadow Grove community center for a whole day for $15 and have a grand old time talking shop. It sounds like you two had a blast. I am with Marge thou, WHAT NO PICS. Lol
rjR
When you look like I do you; I stay on the "smart" side of the camera! A summer 15 Great NW meeting is good idea! I will try to come.
