Hi scrollers I've been scrolling for about 7yrs.now. Started with Intarsia did that exclusively for about 5yrs then got into portraits.I just found this site and have been taking Travis's Gimp lessons for the last week.Thanks Travis for the great lessons.I've been wanting to learn Pattern/Portrain design.As soon as I learn my way I post pics of my Intarsia.

Hi Mike. Welcome to the Village. I'm glad you found us. We'd love to see some of your work. You can set up a User Gallery (you can find a [tut]tutorial here[/tut]) and show off a little. I know I find it inspiring to see other's work. I'm glad you're enjoying the GIMP class. We'll be starting a class on Inkscape on Sept 1st. So keep an eye out for that too. Anyway, welcome aboard. Greetings! I am originally from Salem Oregon. The USAF brought us to Aurora Cololrado and we call it home for now until we can make it back to the great Pacific Northwest some day. Really miss it there... Go DUCKS!
