The pattern is from a book by Neal Moore. This was also my very first frame! You can't imagine how excited I was about how well the frame turned out! LOL Let me know what you think!

Very impressive piece! Top shelf! You do excellent work! I've seen many Eagles done before, but this one is very original. I especially like the "wood color mixture". Is it an original pattern? I'm sure it was a lot of work, to say the least. -Kevin

Thanks for the nice comments, Kevin. Actually, I was more worried about the frame than the eagle! Here's a link to the book by Neal Moore, the pattern designer. http://www.foxchapelpublishing.com/p-22 ... -wood.aspx His technique is pretty easy once you understand it. What is so different is the fact that he assembles all the pieces from the back using a hot glue gun.
