Red-Tailed Hawk

I started this about one year ago then it sat until last month. I took a picture of the hawk in my brother's backyard, converted it to a pattern, then put it on wood. The wood is cherry. The flaw is a knot that was originally in the board. It's finished with satin polyurethane. I did torch the edges to give is some sort of framing. Most of it was cut with a FD-#1UR and some with a #1 spiral. I did notice some fading of the wood after I removed the pattern. Learned a lesson there.

If I remember correctly. you showed us the photo and the process that you took to make the pattern. It came out very nice. It was definately worth the wait.
