Christmas Sleigh and Reindeer finally finished.

After a bit of procrastinating this week I finally finished the reindeer for Sheila Landry's Christmas Sleigh.

 

The tough part will be setting the price and deciding whether to sell as a set or sleigh and reindeer separately.

I would set the price real high and if not sold keep it yourself. In this area $40.00 would be high so real high would be $55.00

Very nice; another LJ project that is sending me to the paper room to make a "similar" design!

 

I will draw and make a somewhat similar one for the house and some to sell!

Looks like a hundred dollar bill to me.I see one of those reindeer's is a blood hound ,lol  Super nice looking project.I know the wife's not letting this go out of her sights! Ralph but it in my mailbox when you're done drafting it!

Kevin you hit it, that's what I was thinking of starting it at.  There is a lot of labor in this one. The sleigh, once you get the fretwork done is a straight forward assembly. For the reindeer, each is composed of 9 pieces. I routed the bodies, but had to hand sand the other 40 pieces.

Beautiful work Dan. May I suggest that you come up with 3 prices. One for the reindeer, one for the sleigh and one for the set. That way you are not caught on the hop if someone asks a separate price.

That's what we did Marg. Then a lady came by last night and bought the set. I'm glad we had already started a second set so we'll have one for the big 2 day craft fair coming along in 10 days!!
