Good morning Brian. A superb piece of work. A lot of time,(excuse the pun), and a lot of patience. The one on the wall behind looks very intricate too. Only one problem Brian, my arms are sore holding the monitor sideways to see the photo.   .

Hope you're not getting battered with those high winds and the rain up there in Glenrothes. I think we missed most of it down here in Kilmarnock. Take care.

sorry I don't have a mantle large enough to hold it. any way it is a beautiful clock with lots of work to get it done. you should take it to a craft show it would get a lot of people looking at your work. Thanks for showing

Great piece of work Brian. I don't like the green colour but this is entirely my opinion.  ;)

The weather should be better in the morning and I am off to Perth for a club meeting, woodturning demo from a professional.

take care

I kind of like the green ,seeings as it is uniform i thought it might of been food coloring.I've been checking out the store for food coloring and they now have neon colored food coloring but it's in gel form $4.50 a small box of 5 basic colors,

I am getting into clock too. I am making 10 clocks for family Christmas presents this year. Nicely done, As soon as Christmas is over and I can breath again, I think I will start making some intricate fret clocks because I like them.. Yours is beautiful

Rob,

You are missing out on the best part of photos that are posted sideways. Instead of holding the monitor sideways, grab a beer and lay down on your side and look at the photo that way. They you get to relax, enjoy the photo and use your arms to get the beer to your mouth.

You don't have to thank me for my wisdom here.  It is just a habit of mine I have been using for years. I love sideways photos the best
