I know how you like pictures, here's some of a show I attended today and I was surprised by a visit of Royalty from the Forest of Dean, yes Forester and his wife Julie paid me a visit nice to see you and the wife Ed for a nice chat on the subject of..... yes you guessed it scrolling.

Made loads of pennies so I'm in next month and the month after. I'm surrounded by lovely women on tables just one more man on top table. Well here's the pics.

Nicely set up Roly.  I do not know how it is on your side of the pond but small boxes like those puzzle boxes sell well over here.  I liked what I saw, how do bowls sell there?

DW

DW I have sold two bowls at shows, people always say how nice they are but they have very long pockets can't quite reach the money. lol  puzzle boxes? are you talking about the boxes with puzzles in them or something else? Thanks Roly

Quite the menagerie! Very impressive display, Not the usual but the unusual!  Very high detail crafts,Great photography too.Show us the penny's.Can you stack them,LOL. Good job my brother!

Kevin.

Considering nearly everything I sell is under £5 with exception of larger items I took a sack of pennies more than happy for first month and I got 5 orders to take next time. GREAT DAY .

Roly the puzzle boxes were put out in SSWC back in '09 they looked like this

Easy to make just 6 cuts and only one of them is an inside cut.  Takes about 10 min or so to cut one out.  The size is roughly the size of a business card but about 1 3/4 in. or so tall. I sell a fair amount of them each season since the customers put jewelry, money, pet remembrances etc in them.  As for your bowls simple and cheap but well made will sell them.  By cheap I mean in the Â£9 to Â£15 ( $15 USD- $25 USD ) range.  Folks here seem to have that easily in their pocket and are willing to spend it especially if they perceive a bargain. :)

Superb display Roly, and some very nice items there. Sorry to hear you had some Scottish visitors with DEEP POCKETS and SHORT ARMS    . Glad to hear you made a tidy sum though and got more orders. Well done that man.   .

Very nice set up Im very glad you did well. On another note, where can I get patterns for those puzzle boxes? I have been looking for then for a long time.

The pattern was in one of the 2009 issues of ScrollSaw Woodworking and Crafts - Karl Taylor's puzzle box from Spring 2009 (issue #34).  It is super simple to make.

Excellent box DW I haven't seen that one I'll have to hunt the pattern down. I was giving away my little mini hugs covered in glitter and they always seem to think they have to buy something then. ;) thanks for the info. Roly
