Phantom Scroller
Well here's my first puzzle box in African tiger wood I made a few errors pushed to hard to cut the key so it went out at an angle and didn't cut close enough to the edge to make more larger room but hey the next one I will have to correct these issues hope you like the box so far. Forgot and a sign for a mate's shed. lol Roly lawson56, jellis and bobscroll
keefie
looks good to me Roly, I can see where you went offline a bit. You also got a little bit of burning on the tight corners, but for a first attempt it's still pretty good. Phantom Scroller
DWSUDEKUM
Roly good job for the first one. One of the things you might try is a spiral blade. I have found at least at first they cut straighter and this can make cutting these easier. I generally use a #9 Ultra reverse now when cutting these. A new sharp blade and taking your time you will have straighter cutting. It takes practice to cut straight in super thick stock. Hardness of the wood, blade selection and sharpness make a difference. But of course you know this. I think you did well.

DW I must admit I rushed it a bit with a 5 reverse tooth and it wavered a bit but hey live and learn and this wood was hard. I'll have to buy some 9's as I'm running low on blades anyway. Thanks for the input and help DW and everyone else for feedback. Roly
