Forester
On Saturday me and Julie had the pleasure of meeting Phantom Scroller at a local event. Great to see someone in person and look at their work. Fantastic work on display by Roly and I need to keep practicing to do do the very detailed work that he produces. Anymore Scrollers in Gloucestershire ?? Edited October 14, 2014 by Forester Rob Roy, Phantom Scroller and keefie

Multifasited
Kevin ,You Sir, would be a hard act to follow ! Larry, Flying into Binghamton ,NewYork ,especially in the winter ,is adventure unto itself ! I have flown in and out 3 times and never touched the ground ,they seem to close that air port quite often ,and very quickly ,I flew in to Bendix Corp. quite often ,yrs and yrs. ago !! Beautiful country ! They had a lady on the P.A. System with the most total monatone voice ,I still can hear her ,announcements to this day ! Funny the silly things you remember after 35 yrs. Would be very nice to actually meet fellow scrollers ,and see all the talent first hand ,and what they do and how they do it to create some amazing works of art ! Till then I remain in awe and maybe that's the way it;s should be !

wombatie
It's lovely when you meet someone that you only know through one of these sites. I met a guy, in fact we stayed at his house for a couple of days when we were in the UK a couple of years ago, from another site. Yes we talked a lot of scrolling talk, he and his wife were very generous with their time and took us around where they lived. A great couple of days. heppnerguy
I know that feeling from meeting our illustrious, Travis, last month. I have been trying to meet up with Ralph but so far it has not happened but it will soon, I am sure of that. Maybe next summer I can convince Travis to have a BBQ/picnic gathering of anyone that might be close enough to join us I think it is great to mee the people you see on The Village, There are a few in the North West so who knows what the outcome might be? My house is always open for anyone that might like to come to Heppner and spend time with us.
