Fish
I was able to finish this today. Has anyone ever had some 1/4" BB that was missing the center layer? I ran into this with this piece of wood. I almost lost a large part and had to glue some of it. What did you do with it if you had that problem? Does it happen very often? Thanks- amazingkevin, Wilson's Woodworking and wombatie

amazingkevin
I often wonder about things like this .How they quality control this from happening at the factorys is beyond me.I'm sure it won't be an easy job but posiable to do a repair here.Little by little, ever so little at a time gluing. The wood i find i can expect the worst to happen .I have no clue if it's been wet ,stressed ,etc. It's happening a few times and not on serious projects .One thing a scroller gets good at is hiding mistakes theirs and the woods. You do wonders with all the Indians you do. :cool:This ones no exception,Good job here. ike
I have ran across that lately but not very large areas I just use wood putty and patch it and sand it down Fish

browders
Great looking piece of work! I too have problems with quality control using plywood I bought at HD and Lowes. I guess if it's an important piece, it pays to order the wood from some place reputable. Fish
