rjR
GREAT SCORE! I scored some nice cedar shorts from the fencing company down the road; by just asking to buy some of the fence rejects! They make great birdhouses and planters! Free is even better! I am going to make a few beer growler double carriers from them! Straight out of their dumpster! Could have had other usable wood there too; same price! When I go back; I will have to take some candy bars or something as a "Thanks Guys"! Some of the pieces had staples I had to pull; man what a NON-problem! spirithorse
Fantastic, Ike, Good for you!I wonder why they are just chipping it?I thought I had scored a while back when I asked a cabinet making company if I could take their scrap out of their dumpster. Turns out every piece in there was just particle board or chip board with a veneer on it! Worthless!God Bless! Spirithorse

Scrappile
Great deal for you. I live in the desert, no sawmills here. Very hard to get timber from a sagebrush!
heppnerguy
Nice when you can score like that. I am truly lucky because my grandson owns the largest cabinet shop in the North West. I get a lot of free wood from him, whenever I am in his area. Ask Travis about the wood i gave to him when we met. He will tell you that is it really nice wood. I also have a supplier for free Poplar, I am a really lucky guy too.. Dick heppnerguy Travis
ike
You sure are lucky. I get my popular from Paxton woods in Madera Ohio. It runs me about $2.45 a board ft. so the freebie saves you a lot of money,
