Travis Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 As I'm sure you noticed, I've moved around the header a bit. First, I moved our sponsors below the navigation. Our sponsors are very important to us and I wanted to make sure they had better visibility. They're what keeps this site alive and kicking. Besides, they have some really cool stuff for us scrollers. So be sure to check them out and let them know that you appreciate them supporting SSV. Second, I replaced the old banner space with Google search bar. While the forum search function works just fine, the Google search bar is much more thorough. Plus it will bring back results from across the entire SSV. Hopefully it will make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. And lastly. I removed the Google ad from the top....kinda. If you are logged in, you will no longer see the Google ad on the top of the forum. However, if you are not logged in, you will see the Google ad in all it's glory, plus a new Google Ad after the first post in each thread. So if you don't wanna see 'em, log in. Membership has its privileges. Since this little update requires me to fiddle around with code, be sure to let me know if you see anything goofy. And now back to your regularly scheduled program.
