I'm new to the board and excited to be here!  I loved working on a scroll saw in high school and after quite some time away from it, I have just gotten started again.  Just finished making an evergreen tree that my younger daughter will paint for me.  I'm from PA and I'm married to the love of my life going on 17 years now.  We have two daughters and one grandson.  Our older daughter is 19 and her son is 4 months old and our younger daughter is 14.  Hubby and I are both in our 30s.

Can't wait to "meet" all of you and learn from your experience!

Kelly

Thank you all for the welcome!  I'm really excited!  I made 5 projects last night :)  I probably would have done more, but I was watching my grandson and running my hubby's dialysis machine so I needed to focus more on them than my projects.  Each project is getting easier and easier for me to accomplish.  I'm not sure I'm ready for anything complicated, but I'm excited I'm getting the hang of the machine again.  I just have so many questions and so much to learn!

Larry - Not sure what in my profile made you like me, but that is good with me :)  It's always nice to be liked and welcome.

Kevin - Always can use more family, so I'm very excited to have just extended mine by joining the village :)

Thanks again everyone for the welcome!!!!

Hey Yall ,

I am in Savannah Ga. There is not a lot of Scrollers around here sorry to say.I have been scrolling as a hobby for several years and am Finally ready to invest in a top class Scroll saw.

I have been using Ryobi saws for years and am thinking of buying the Excalibur EX-21 saw. Any input would be greatly appreciated. You can either E-mail me or reply on here.

Thanks

Well, hello Kelly. A BIG SCOTTISH WELCOME to the Village family. I'm Roy from, well you know where now. Another lady member to keep us children in order????. Judging by your profile you are indeed a busy lady, not to mention a fun loving lady, after having watched your funny wee video. I didn't think anyone could get that excited by a food processor LOL. Mind you those things are way out of my league. I'll take my chances with scrollsaws etc.

I like your chickens and Christmas trees and you need not worry one iota if you have a problem with anything as we have wonderful folks here who will give you no end of information on all things woodworking and scrolling,(no secrets here). Maybe you could teach us how to use a food processor, especially Larry, then we might get a decent breakfast   .

I must apologise for the lateness of my welcome, but when you are retired you get more to do at home than you ever did when you were working. So, Kelly come on in get scrollin' and most of all ENJOY. Take care.

Rob Roy.

P. S. Keep your eye on KEVIN.   .
