kkrunde
I LOVED working on a scroll saw in high school, but I haven't touched one since. Just did this today. My younger daughter will paint it for me. Not anywhere near as impressive as all of your very amazing projects posted on here, but still wanted to share. Thanks for looking Travis

DWSUDEKUM
Kkrunde That looks good. You should have seen some of my first attempts. I have quite a pile of designer firewood laying around The thing about scrolling is there really is no mistakes. Seriously, a pattern is is just a guide and no one not one of us follows a pattern exactly as printed. however one thing we all have found is to have fun doing it. With practice you will get better and better. Working alongside family members promotes memories that will last a life time. Great job. Thanks for sharing this with us. wombatie
We all started at the beginning just like you Kelly. Well it certainly looks like a tree to me, so what more could you ask for. Keep it up and one day soon you will make some of us look like beginners. Marg Wilson's Woodworking

Now tell me what size blade you have in your scroll saw? It looks huge. .../Hans

Scrappile
Great "re-start". But watch out you daughter will love it and demand more! I did my first scrolling on an old scroll saw my Dad had in the garage when I was a kid. He pretty much let us kids use all his tools except the table saw. I thank him for it, it is wear I got the foundation for my love of wood working. Wilson's Woodworking
