New Guy
Pattern named Somewhere Pattern by Neptun (Sasho) It is in the New Patterns. 1/8" BBply Pine stain cut with spiral blade. I'm still learning to use the spirals. Hope I did justice to the pattern. Scrolling Steve, amazingkevin and Fab4
wombatie
Well you did do it justice. You can keep your spiral blades I hate them but I take my hat off to anyone that masters them. Well done, keep it up Marg

grampa
Great job Al, tried spirals but can't get use to them, looks like your getting the knack for useing them well done.....Paul
danny
It looks Very Pleasing to the EYE and I also share Marge's feelings. Too many hours practicing and most all FAILURES. They either BREAK or I get frustrated trying to securing them in the Holders. I use a Hegner. LOVE THE FDUR#1 blades. 90% usage for all projects. Wilson's Woodworking
Great job on a wonderful pattern! I was trying to cut with #3 FD spirals on 3 layers of 6mm plywood last night and they were snapping in the middle after just a few minutes of cutting. I plan on using up the last 10 blades that I have and NEVER getting any more. I could use a #3 FD-UR blade 4X longer and have to replace it because it is dull instead of broken. If they work for you fantastic they are just not for me. You seem to be doing a GREAT JOB with them and therefore I commend you. Thanks for sharing this piece of art. It looks fantastic.
ike
Mice cutting it looks like you are getting the spirals down. I have yet to do that I have a Dozen of #2 to try and if don't get it by the I will stick to the flat blades.

Scrappile
That is a great looking picture! Looks like he/she is paddling off into the sunset. Very nice work. You are doing good with the spirals. I love them for portrait type work. I have not done any other type of cutting with them so I don't know how well they work for things like word art, etc. Edited December 17, 2014 by Scrappile
amazingkevin
I see you found the key to useing spirals ! Extra tight blades and cut 4 times as slow as a straight blade .No problems that way .Miracules never ceace You cutting skills are outragously great with the spirals..Very tight blades and cut slow ,anybody can do it ,but you 've done it best here! Congradulations!!!5 atta boy's 5 stars
