Hello , new to this site ....been scrolling and wood working since very young , now 67 yrs. old but have retired and have been doing scrolling and tried antarsia and do welding of yard art etc when it's too cold to work outside.  I have a small farm and have cattle and do yard work and landscaping etc when weather is good , when it's not I go to shop and do crafting stuff.....so been looking around for sites that have ideas and patterns etc of things to try , I've done quite a few signs and plaques etc and really enjoy the layered plaques that give that 3D effect , I try different stains and add color just too experiment and add to the depth.....so if you know of good sites with FREE patterns  ( on fixed income so can't buy many pricey ones ) you might suggest where to look.....Many Thanks....Rick

Yea, the Scroll Saw Village gets an experienced scroller for Christmas.

Welcome Rick.

You are experienced and sound ready to take questions.

What we are missing from you is: Pictures !  of your work.

Well Rick, Merry Christmas to you and your Family.

Welcome to the forum.  Glad you enjoy the layered patterns.  If you donate a little to a charity of your choice, the Ornaments for Charity ebook we put together has a layered pattern in it.  I designed it, and was so hoping someone would cut it.  Maybe you'll be the first.

Either way, welcome aboard, lots of free patterns and good people to talk with.
