dankc908
Does anyone have any idea where one can purchase 1/2" x 4 1/2" sanding sleeves for a Performax Oscillating Spindle Sander. I went to Menard's (where I bought the sander) and they acted like I had grown a 3rd head for wanting such a product - which they didn't have and had never heard of. They told me that they don't carry ANY sanding sleeves. Since I am unable to buy the sleeves the sander is, virtually, worthless to me. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from Menard's again! devsdad98
I was going to suggest Woodcraft also. If not, does Performax or Menards have a website? Also, it would take some digging, but maybe ebay would be a possibility. If you have the manual, you might look there too for information. If you don't have the manual, contact me and I will give you a website where you might find it. Mark

Travis
Woodcraft is a good choice. Rockler too should have what you're looking for. Many times, sanding sleeves are pretty standard sizes. You might try Sears or one of the Home Improvement stores too.

greasemonkeyredneck
I've been finding a lot of hard to find items such as sanding sleeves and pads at Harbor Freight. They also have a website. Most of their tools aren't exactly the best quality, but I save a bundle there on things like sanding pads, and have never had any problem. I have a 12" disk sander and that is the only place that keeps pads for it around here.
