Loskoppie Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Hi All. I need some help with my skills with the patterns. I down loaded a BoBscroll pattern it is three coasters 23-8-2014. Now I am spending my time wading throw the help manuals to find out how I can split them up to print one at a time. I was trying to change it to a vector image, but have not found out how yet. I know there is a simple answer but I can't find it yet. Thanks Barbara Quote

Birchbark Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Take the image into Inkscape, select the one you want and save it as a svg image. Make it the size you want, print it. I think that's all there is to it, if i remember correctly Russell amazingkevin and Scrolling Steve 2 Quote

LarryEA Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Me don't have Inkscape. Sooo I would "TRY" by printing it. Using sciissors and cut them apart. Scan them back in one at a time, then size and print them. So this method will only work sometimes and only for me. Rob Roy, Lucky2 and sullyscroller 3 Quote

Phantom Scroller Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Barb if your using Windows software in the bottom left corner, Start menu you should find a tool called Snipping tool click on it drag a box around anything you want and file choose save it as a jpeg on your desktop or where ever and you have it. If you want the tool handy just drag it to the bottom bar and let go. Roly Wilson's Woodworking and Loskoppie 2 Quote
browders Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 If you have a program like Photoshop elements, you can go in and crop each item. Then save it under a new name. Jim Loskoppie 1 Quote
Loskoppie Posted January 19, 2015 Author Report Posted January 19, 2015 Thanks all. My princes arrived. Both with good answers that have been around longer than computers. Brains and scissors. The pattern is underUtilitanrian 3 rd from the bottom. But there is a answer with the programs. I will find the solution, till then scissors is it. LarryEA 1 Quote

Yes Danny I use it all the time for separating sections of pictures to make patterns and scroll. The internet is your collage or gallery, well that's what I say .
