jerry1939 Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 (edited) I have been using spray paint for years. Also, for scroll patterns, I use the blue painters tape & 3M spray adhesive method. I "usually" wear goggles to protect my eyeglasses, which have plastic lenses. Sometimes an un-named idiot forgets to put on the goggles and some spray sticks to the glasses. To clean them, take an old toothbrush and toothpaste and scrub each side of the lenses. Works great !!!!!!!!! jerry Edited January 19, 2015 by jerry1939 keefie, Phantom Scroller and Scrolling Steve 3 Quote

rjR Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 Spray paint can be a real bear on contact lenses! That was how I learned to ALWAYS wear goggles if doing over a tiny bit of spray painting. The cans and care work fine, but the spray gun IS GOGGLES time ! Thanks for the information, it will help clean the goggles. That also works on cloudy headlights-- Make sure to use a good wax after the cleaning for more duration between the cleanings. My Pickup is an 03 has set outside 90% or so and because I do wax the headlights at least once a year they are still clear and bright! Quote
