Larry A. Blakely Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) Well, I decided for my 2nd project to tackle a guitar player for my son who handles his axe quite well. Took about 2 hours to cut it out. I'm beginning to get the feel of the tight turns now. May try to work on a Willys truck for my son-in-law next. Fab4 Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Hi Lorenzo: Well done Just enough detail to see what it is You won't notice it but the more you scroll the easier it gets Keep up the great work Fab4 Larry A. Blakely 1 Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Looks great Lorenzo. What wood did you use for your player? It looks like MDF? If so, please wear a good dust mask when cutting it. Great work by the way. Looks like you are really getting into the swing of things. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Larry A. Blakely 1 Quote

Larry A. Blakely Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Posted February 3, 2015 Thanks for the heads up on MDF. I have used it before but don't have any for scrolling. The guitar player is out of 3/4" plywood I had left over. Found the pattern for free download at: http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/2012/02/guitar-player.html Larry Quote

It's cold but dry besides some light flurries of snow coming to nothing. Unless your in Scotland then it's awful weather ask Rob when he's on. Roly Quote
