LarB
That's great cutting, well done. I hope you don't mind but I have to ask a question about your fourth piece of work...with the scroll writing - how did you keep the timber attached with the 's', 'd' and 'o'?? woodduck
woodduck
That's great cutting, well done. I hope you don't mind but I have to ask a question about your fourth piece of work...with the scroll writing - how did you keep the timber attached with the 's', 'd' and 'o'?? The centres of those letters were glued separately to the backing board with the front temporarily in place ,the backing was then removed & painted where it lined up with the letters etc. then the front & back were glued together.Hope this makes sense. Fab4
Hi Peter Love the signs. It may be easier and less work if you were to bridge the s,d, and o. Don't get me wrong, how you did it looks good Fab4 woodduck

amazingkevin
Do you know where your dog is,lol I remember years ago in ssv a member was at a craft show and the person next to him was selling ruff looking weather beaten signs that read welcome.Go figure ,They were selling as fast as Larryea can make pancakes too.Ya just never know what's going to sell . I guess people put them in the bush's by the front door???They blend in well that way???? One complaint i get is how can i hang it, i guess they want everything to go ? Beautiful lettering skills!
