Hi I am fairly new to the scrollsaw scene, I am a member of another forum on another page, I have only been doing it about 4/5 weeks, for my first project I thought I would jump in at the deep end and did a collapsible bowl the second project I did was a alphabet puzzle for my three year old son, my third project was another collapsible bowl with a married couple in the handle for a anniversary present for my wife and my last project I did was a bear type silhouette, I will try to add pics

Welcome to the Village Andrew.  I'm Marg from Australia formerly of West Bromwich, a neigbour of yours, in fact my husband got his driving license in Bilston, but that was a long time ago.  Boy you did throw yourself in at the deep end didn't you?  And boy can you swim!  You did an excellent job on all of your projects, you are a born natural.

I too am impressed with your work. I can't say that it was that easy for me when I started out but it was still good enough to get me addicted. Andrew, we are all so glad that you found The Village. This place is riddled with a vast assortment of talented and fun loving people. We love seeing our world wide family continue to grow, almost daily. The real secret to fitting in is to log on as often as possible and continue to post your work and ad comments to the posts of others. That way you get to become familiar with all of us and we get to know you better. Be sure you check our a vast free pattern library and download and cut all you would like to try. You will quickly learn that there are a lot of members here that live in the UK. so you should feel right at home in a very short time. Glad you are with us.
