trailfndr
I have been using my Porter Cable scroll saw for 2 years with no issues at all. The last month or so, it has developed a slight vibration at times, that make cutting a good line difficult. My lovely wife came up to me the other day and told me to do some research and get a new and better saw. What a wonderful woman I have. Last night, I ordered my EX-21 Can't wait to get it and start cutting. Lucky2
You'll be impressed with how nice it is to cut on an Excaliber, I traded up a few years ago and have been a happy scroller ever since. Oh yeah, you won't notice any vibration on the new EX21, good luck with it once it arrives. Len heppnerguy and tomsteve
amazingkevin
My upgrade from Chinese saws to a Dewalt was incredible. As soon as i turn on the Dewalt i was waiting for it to start. It was running but made absolutely no noise or vibration.I couldn't believe my eye's.! But then cutting some wood again all you heard was the wood cutting too.Your going to be sold ,lot stock and barrel when you get your new saw.Don't forget "Honey" appreciation! But she is still in training for her upcoming cage fight. (not a good time) Once again I am so glad she doesn't read this forum. Gotta love her. thatknobtony
We have similar stories. It was my wife's idea to get me a de Walt. Doesn't even complain about the extra time in the shop. Now she gets first pick wether she wants a piece or not. What good wives we have. Now if I could only remember what special day is coming up. LOL. Jim Finn
I was frustrated by continually repairing my DeWalt and was looking on line for a replacement and my wife told me ," Buy the best one you find." Wow! I bought a Hegner Polymax and love it. That was 2008. Still running great every day.

Now she gets first pick wether she wants a piece or not. What good wives we have. Now if I could only remember what special day is coming up. LOL.q I was doing intarsia for about 3 years and replacing parts on my saw on a regular basis. One day I was looking on line at scroll saws and I found a really good deal on a DeWalt just before I went to bed. The sight said it would only be offered for 12 more hours. I mentioned it to my wife as I crawled into bed. She asked me if it was the saw I really wanted. I said yes but it was a little speedy to buy ' just for myself'. She said BUY IT IF YOU WANT IT. I couldn't believe it. First thing in the morning I got on line and the offer was over. I had wished I would have purchased it the night before. I went all over the internet searching for a similar deal. And low and behold I found a deal at a furniture store sight. They sold no other tools. I called them to find out if it was a refurbished one or a new one. It was new and shipping was included. So I got my new saw for only $259 total price. So if it was not for my wife I would still be buying replacement parts for my cheap saw. THANK YOU, MY BRIDE FOR YOUR FAITH IN ME AND ALL YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT THROUGHOUT ALL THESE MANY 50 PLUS YEARS , LOVE YOU DICK HEPPNERGUY
Bendita
My first wife really didn't like tools around much and the second one wouldn't even let me buy a hammer. Now you see why I'm single.
