Dan
I just received a bunch of Baltic birch ply. The grain is so amazing I hate to cut it up. I just applied some cherry stain. jerry1939
I buy BB from here and have always been happy with it. I often buy "Good on both sides." That way, IF there is ever a flaw, there is always the other side. I consider it cheap insurance for the number of hours spent sawing a piece. http://www.sloanswoodshop.com/default.htm jerry
jamminjack
Hay Dan Sometimes you get pieces of wood with outstanding grain, and you just hate to even cut it; I can relate to that. Enjoy and make a masterpiece.....

LarryEA
Frame it... Nah, like my wife says, 'Take a picture and cut it.'
Dan
Frame it... Nah, like my wife says, 'Take a picture and cut it.' That's exactly what I'm going to do. Unfortunately I bought it for the bookmarks so I will be cutting it into 1-1/2 by 6-inch pieces. Maybe there are some more good pieces in the rest of the order. Guess I'll have to look. Scrappile
That is pretty stuff. Hate to see it used for bookmarks, but they sure will be specially pretty ones. That really need to be a nice piece with some great word of wisdom scrolled in it. The last two sheets of BB I bought (5' x 5') has been the worst I have ever gotten. Going to a different store next time. I should have know they were the last two sheet he had. Should have told me something......
