Russell Russel the bird cage is 8" long x 6" wide by 8" high to small for a bird besides I like my birds free this is the second cage I made the first one was to small and due to the material being to week I had to abort that projects and increase the size the first one was 6 x 4 x 6 I used real sticks whittled down to 1MM so they are really week also but altogether it came out all right I'm on to my next project all ready. amazingkevin Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Glad it's not to keep captive something that's free as a bird in .Thai people buy a bird and let it go for good luck!Nice project for looks only! Bendita 1 Quote

wombatie Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 It doesn't look very mini to me and then I saw the size that you put down, so I guess it is mini. But it's a giant awesome. Wow, I love it. Marg Bendita 1 Quote

ike Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Every body says it's beautiful work. To Me it the average Hans cutting I have not seen anything that you cut that wasn't beautiful, It's become expected. Awesome Beautiful work, you do nothing else. Bendita 1 Quote
Birchbark Posted February 24, 2015 Report Posted February 24, 2015 Oh man Hans, you fooled me. I thought it was much bigger than that. I guess even a small bird would be very cramped in there. Once again, very nice work on this. Looking forward to your next project. Always a pleasure to see. Russell Bendita 1 Quote
Bendita Posted February 24, 2015 Author Report Posted February 24, 2015 Thanks everyone for the great compliments Its my pleasure to make and show these pieces to you and I thrive on the comments. It makes me want to do better with each project. time after time I run into bad patterns like this one was, but then I just pick myself up and restart. I hope to make a bird cage thats taller and even more intricate than this one but first I have to get some other projects out of the way. bobscroll 1 Quote
