Something I do when I have to cut a lot of one thing, like your crosses. I have cut, hearts, doves, rabbits and a few other silhouettes from plexiglass. I use the templates to trace right on the wood then stack cut them. Saves alot of supplies. Don't have to use any paper, ink, tape, glue and there's no clean up, just cut and sand.
