Bendita
I spend 3 days cutting this and a bunch more when I found I had mixed up the print size so all this was to big (sniff) Oh well started all over it will be a week or so before you'll see this one. heppnerguy
Hans, you must not be reading my posts.. I did the same thing on the Bell Tower clock I made for my wife... With that much detail involved, one needs to really double check the pattern sizes before and after they are printed and before they are cut. Oh well, It never hurts to have to cut anything. That is where our enjoyment as scrollers comes into play anyway.. Another wonderful piece in creation from the 'scroll saw artist in Mexico' Dick heppnerguy

Scrappile
I just read a pretty good tip on another forum about making copies of patterns. Before coping the pattern make a copies of a 6" ruler sitting both ways and check it against the ruler to double check the copy size.. jerry1939
We have 3 copy machines close by. I learned that I always need to go to the same one with a particular pattern. Home copiers are the worst. jerry

Kevx
I would be tempted to make a second one of the project in that size you accidentally cut just to keep all that work from going to waste. wombatie
wombatie
We all do it and that makes us human and slightly stupid. Marg Bendita
Bendita
Thanks folks I gave it away to another artist who is going to use it in one of his pieces, To me the enjoyment is in the cutting so I've got what I want and I'm about 1/2 way to re building it so no biggy. What I see looks great as usual. Nothing says that the thing has to be one certain size does it? Just resize the pattern Just a thought from a master designer firewood maker.
