50 year WIP

Was not sure if this needed to go in General forum or in Bragging Rights.  Made this for our 50th Wedding Anniversary which is today.  (Pattern by Steve Good that I modified a bit).  Cut from Pecan that was harvested across the street from where we were married.

Congratulations. My bride and i are about 4 years ahead of you but it was the 50th that meant so much to both of us. I also cut a scroll item for my wife on our anniversary too. It still hangs on our wall for all to see. I am sure yours will bring memories of this wonderful day for you two as long as you shall live.

Paul,

Shame on you, I sure hope Patty does not read your posts or you may doing more scrolling then you want to, because she just might not let you back into the house for some time to come.

Congratulations to you and your wife, for sure.  You are members of a rear group these days.  Me and wifie are not far behind.  It will be 48 this year, if she comes back....  Been gone to some quilting thing for several days, least that is what she told me..

Thanks everyone.  50 is a good number as some have already found out and others are looking towards it.

Yes, she has grit.  Also has spunk and also has me.  Three out of three can't be beat ;)

The numbers were made from a piece of a red vinyl folder.  I cut off a piece and sandwiched it between two pieces of wood.  First time I have done that. Font is Tropicana but I backed out of doing all the fancy stuff on that font.

1 4 3 - Our "special" code for over 50 years.  I (1) Love (4) You (3).

Thanks again
