Larry A. Blakely
This is my first attempt at Intarsia. Used jatoba, spalted maple, and red oak with a vinegar/steel wool wash to darken it. Finished with four coats of lacquer. Tried cutting the jatoba on the scroll saw but it's so dense I ended up using the band saw. heppnerguy
way to go.. I am glad to see that you were willing to give intarsia a try. It is not as difficult as so many scrollers feel that it is going to be. You did a great job, now go and try another one soon Dick heppnerguy Larry A.
