Scrappile Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Posted March 10, 2015 Makes me wonder if they are going to keep Mike's Workshop name for blades... They have been FD selling blades all along. I figured they would just merge his stock into theirs. Anyway, they are out of spirals 3/0 size, that is a concern,,,, I've only got a gross and a half left!!!!!!!!!!!! Service may be slowed a little, I got responses from Mike on weekends. I can handle a little slower..... Quote

About 2 hours later, he called me to say yes, that the deal had just closed and he couldn't say anything to me about it last week because it was still up in the air. He says, nothing will change and his phone number will still be the same and so on. He told me to tell you all that we should all start buying from the new owners because they have a tremendous inventory of blades. So, that should clear everything up. Ray. Quote

The shipping charger for that was $6.95, which is about averaged for cataloger sales which is about average They sell both Olson and Flying Dutchman blades, They also have a good selection of patterns. I have used them for years and have no complaints. Quote

I ordered it Friday and it only took 2 working days to get here The order was for $30 and the shipping is \ $6.95. which is about average for a cataloger sale. I have been doing business with them for several years and thaye have always been prompt . never ask for help so I don't know about that end of the business Quote

The blades are actually manufactured by Niqua in Germany and Mike imported and labeled them Flying Dutchman. Anyone selling Flying Dutchman got them from Mike. You might be able to get the same blade under the Niqua name or some other name on your side of the pond. Scrolling Steve 1 Quote

Here is his answer: Hi Larry, I am still getting order but tell the customers that I faxed the order to the Wooden Teddy Bear. www.woodenteddybear.com Phone # 1-503-760-1614 I did not sell any blades after last Sunday. I got a call from Mike and he told me that he faxed my order to the WTB because he is not filling anymore orders. Said that I should be hearing from them in a couple days.
