You want to have some fun thread sone snap clothes pins thru the center of the spring on a small cable or wire tight horizonal to a drive in fence post 15 -20 ft from your feeder tighten the wire between the two and clip some peanuts (whole in the shell) in the snap clips spread along the wire and watch the antic as the squirels and blue jays get the peanuts it's a riot !
