You can find that option in your User Control Panel (top left of the tan bar at the top of the screen). Once there, click your Profile tab, then click "Edit Avatar". You can upload your avatar. The avatar is limited to 64x64px and needs to be under 14.65kb.

 

If you have trouble sizing your avatar, you can post it in this thread and I'll resize it for you. You can attach an image by clicking the Upload Attachment tab in the blue box below your response compose screen. Let me know if you run into any problems. I'd be glad to help

Hello my name is KEVIN KRIPPEL.I'm new so be patient.lolI have tryed in vane to down size me picture to your specs,no go .It was 355kb and i got it down to 5kb more than were alloud.Can you believe how close i got .took much persevernce too.Never having done so before.HELP HELP Here is the photo of the wife and i .Do your thing.Thanks Your doing a great job.P.S.is there a chat room for us here ?the amazing kevin[attachment=1]KEVIN AN ANNIE AT BEACH.JPG[/attachment]

When resizing your picture, try saving it as a GIF. That usually helps shrink down the file size. I can resize the picture for you. However, the picture you uploaded is nothing but a red square. If you upload your pic, I'd be happy to scale it down to avatar size for ya.

 

As far as chat room, we don't currently have one. If there is some real interest, I can certainly add one. My fear, though, is that it wouldn't be used. Chat rooms take up an incredible amount of resources and can be costly to maintain. But I'm certainly open to it if SSV members want one.

hi travis your right there was no picture of kevin and annie so i sent a good one for you to work with . I'll try to learn how to change the next one to gif instead of jpg. thanks for the extra quick responce on the last one.I see you shrunk it but am lucky to do what i do on a computer.i have no idea how to get the pic to my site from where it is ?
