qlty
The one problem I have with pine is even though I sand the cutting surface and cover the pattern with clear packing tape if the wood has much pitch in it the saw dust piles up in damp curls on the cutting line and the blower does not remove it very well .I have to stop and brush it off.Wondering if any one has a solution to this problem?? merlin
Yeah have the same problem here (NZ), now don't know if your pine is the same as your pine or not but it sounds like it. I try not to use tape for the reason you gave about the dust curling and building up. (that wood be the resin, pith and the tape glue all combining, a mess and pain.) Have a go without the tape and sea if that helps at all. Merlin
wood-n-things
I have to be a little more careful when cutting pine so that I get good adhesion and no curls or bumps. Then it seems to be okay.
FD Mike
Why not using blue painters tape on top of the wood and glue pattern on top of that. Mike
ugsduck
I got around this by disconnecting the inbuilt air and installing a cheap aquarium pump that delivers more powerfull and constant air whatever the speed of the arm. macfil20
I'm using blue tape on the pine then glue the pattern on the tape. I don't have anymore problem. JP
