Larry A. Blakely
Finally finished my first portrait. 3/8" plywood with black backer. Used an Olson No. 0 spiral blade for the first time since practicing. Beginning to get the feel of controlling it. Now to frame it. Scrappile
Nice scrolling! My advice to us that love the spirals, would be keep practicing with the flat blades also. I have had some occasions lately where a flat blade is needed, and find I really struggle with them. Larry A. Blakely
Larry A. Blakely
Yep, I had to use the magnifier on my lamp to see what I was doing with the spirals. I much prefer the flat blades.

Larry A. Blakely
That's funny Roly! Wasn't sure if that was a comment or advice. I'll assume the former since I've already committed myself to trying them. lol Phantom Scroller

Phantom Scroller
Larry I hate using Spirals only use them if the jobs to big and I can't turn it. You've done well with yours but it still won't make me use them. . Roly
